May 2: Allegheny County Jail Oversight Board Meeting

Thursday, May 2, 2024 | 4:00 p.m.
Allegheny County Courthouse, 4th Floor Gold Room
436 Grant St. Pittsburgh, PA

Join us on the 1st Thursday of every month at these public meetings to help hold the Allegheny County Jail Oversight Board accountable for protecting the rights and well-being of people inside the jail.

At this meeting, we’ll be urging action to stop the ACJ from continuing to violate the 2021 voter referendum that ended solitary confinement. We’ll also speak to current inflexible visitor procedures that violate jail policy.

View the May 2 meeting agenda here.

Sign up to give three minutes of public testimony here.  Online registration opens seven days before the meeting start and closes 24 hours before the meeting. You can also sign up in person just prior to the meeting.
