Sep. 5-7: Working While Black Blitz

Thursday – Sunday, September 5-7, 2024 | 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Philly Black Worker Project Office
1415 N Broad St., Ste 228, Philadelphia, PA 19122

There are nearly 640,000 Black workers in Philly, many of whom are not being given the dignity and respect they deserve on their jobs. The issues of work become exacerbated when Black workers are justice-impacted.

Enough is enough! We know this city will not be successful in policing its way out of poverty. We know we must build a base of Black Workers willing to seek alternatives on their job and in their communities! Together, we can transform this city.

Hit the streets with Philly Black Worker Project and Abolitionist Law Center as we listen to the stories of Black and working-class Philadelphians. Help us in our goal of reaching 1000 workers in three days.

We cannot do this alone and we are calling on you, your community, and your organizations to support us in building a powerful base of Black workers in our city, ready to fight back against regressive, oppressive policies and build a new, reparative, and restorative future.

Join us in reaching 1,000 workers in three days!
