President Trump and the MAGA movement are hurling the nation towards a re-founding of itself based on racial domination. The United States was founded on chattel slavery and then was refounded on racial segregation/Jim Crow. Both of these were ultimately abolished after at least a century of resistance each. But because America has not yet fundamentally transformed its way of life and the worldview beneath it, it is now cycling back into a very dystopian era defined by an explicit regime of social domination, inequality and division.
