On this eve of Juneteenth, we are thrilled to share some amazing wins that highlight the importance of our movement’s commitment to determined struggle, the heart of which is liberation for all.

In this moment, we must also note that the actions and threats from the current administration warn us to prepare for increased criminalization and incarceration on the horizon. But our movement offers lessons for those who may be new to rampant criminalization and the tortuous conditions inside carceral institutions. We will lead by example with our continued fight for the rights of incarcerated people and ending unjust and extreme sentencing.

We have our work cut out for us. As we always have. But we won’t stop. Our future depends on our collective determined commitment. And now, on to some hard-won good news.
