Join ALC and the other members of the Still We Rise Freedom Coalition’s Let’s Stay Free Conference: The Maroon Edition at this full-day gathering rooted in the spirit of resistance, revolutionary matriarchy, and liberation. This event uplifts Black and Brown women and TGNC (Transgender & Gender Non-Conforming) people who are leading transformative justice efforts in our communities.

Inspired by the legacy of maroons—those who escaped slavery and built free, self-governed communities—this edition of the conference is a space for reclaiming power, culture, and collective strategy. We honor the voices of those most impacted by incarceration and systemic violence by centering their leadership, healing, and vision for freedom.
