Mar. 10: Tell Allegheny County: No Collaboration with ICE
February 10, 2026

Allegheny County Courthouse, 4th Floor Gold Room
436 Grant St. Pittsburgh, PA
Allegheny County Councilperson Bethany Hallam has introduced legislation to block county collaboration with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Join ALC in standing in support of this measure that would prohibit County employees and resources from assisting ICE, and protect equal access to County services without regard to real or perceived immigration or citizenship status.
The integrity of our local government is rooted in public trust and fulfillment of core responsibilities to provide essential services, ensure due process, and serve the public equitably. That is all betrayed when local government collaborates with federal immigration enforcement to discriminate and harass people based on their skin color, ability to speak English, and immigration status.
By adopting this policy, Allegheny County can send a clear message that we value dignity, fairness, and safety for all residents, and that our diversity is a strength of our communities, not something to fear.
