The Academy of People, Politics, and Power presents an initiative for our people to learn, connect, and gather: Movement Mondays. Please join 1Hood and the Abolitionist Law Center for a 10-week civic engagement training to develop your skills and knowledge to build power for your folks. In these times all we have is each other to keep us safe and build a better world.

Through Movement Mondays we seek to give people real world engagements and insights from decision makers and local exports within the movement arena to allow people to build electoral power in their communities to address housing instability and affordability.

Mondays: Feb. 23 – May 4, 2026

This Monday, join us as we discuss Mobilizing the Movement, with knowledge shares about civic engagement and impact from:
