Democratic leaders in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives have postponed a vote on a critical bill: HB 443, our movement’s bill to end mandatory life without parole sentences – death by incarceration – for second-degree murder, which the PA Supreme Court ruled unconstitutional in March.

Over 1,000 people are serving an unconstitutional sentence & have been left dangling. HB 443 provides the best way for them to get a reasonable chance to come home.
