Join New Kensington CDC in kicking off Justice Reform Month at the Kensington Engagement Center!

As part of NKCDC’s “A People’s Exposition,” the month of June will focus on programming that brings together residents, artists, advocates, violence prevention workers, organizers, researchers, and justice-impacted individuals to examine the root causes of violence and incarceration while collectively imagining safer, healthier, and more just communities. Through art, storytelling, education, healing, and public dialogue, the series seeks to:

• Humanize the experiences behind systems involvement
• Increase community understanding of violence prevention and justice reform
• Create opportunities for healing and reflection
• Elevate lived expertise and youth voices
• Strengthen partnerships across Philadelphia
• Inspire collective action toward community-led safety and transformation
