Rupalee received her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, where she was a Public Interest/Public Service (PIPS) Scholar, and she received her B.A. from the George Washington University. Rupalee serves as a lecturer in law at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and served as an adjunct professor at the Caritas Clemency Clinic at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. Prior to joining the Abolitionist Law Center, Rupalee was a public defender at the Office of the Miami Dade Public Defender, where she represented adults and children facing misdemeanors and felonies in both jury and bench trials. Rupalee is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and Florida.
